As reported in The Daily Transcript, Wednesday, September 26, a new South Bay-area park called Cesar Solis has opened. Designed by Schmidt Design Group, the park is located near two schools in Ocean View Hills. The 20-acre park features a five-acre joint-use field shared with the San Ysidro School District, a multi-purpose field with lighting and backstops, open recreation areas with walking paths, a service building with restrooms and a snack bar, picnic areas and a skate park.
The $20 million project is part of a multiphase effort that will eventually include a recreation center and aquatic center.
