Western Region Climate Change Webinar

Wednesday, April 7

12:00 p.m. PT

The ASLA Climate Action Committee is building a network of representatives from each ASLA chapter and accredited program to convene expertise on existing and predicted climate change issues most pressing for each region. Join practitioners and educators from the Southern Pacific Coast region for a discussion on the diverse aspects of how landscape architects are addressing and planning solutions to mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change through policy and project case studies.

Be a part of the conversation, and share how you are making a positive change! The Climate Action Network is collecting resources for each region within these categories to share on asla.org: Advocacy, Policy, Practice, Research, and Funding.

Speakers will highlight the importance of policy and how we can be involved in making and using policy to enact change. Learn from case studies that are building resilience within communities vulnerable to wildfire, sea level rise, coastal erosion, and other climate change issues.
