MISSION STATEMENT
The ASLA Communications Committee works to improve the visibility and public awareness of the San Diego Chapter and the profession of landscape architecture as a whole. We strive to maintain a positive image of the chapter among outside organizations, members, and the general public. We invite individuals who are interested in spreading awareness of the profession to join us.
OUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize current forms of social media to establish communication with the rest of the chapter
Coordinate with various chapter committees to provide editoral review and formatting of press/news releases
Coordination of Public Outreach Events to promote the chapter and profession
Serve as a source for information regarding upcoming events and meetings within the chapter
Showcase relevant projects and topics within the San Diego region
