Meet the team behind Van Slyke Landscape 🌿 Van Slyke Landscape is a family-owned landscape contractor company rooted in over 50 years of hands-on experience. What began as a small gardening service started by Paul and Marolyn Van Slyke to put themselves through college, grew into Olivenhain Gardens Nursery & Landscaping in 1974 and then Van Slyke Landscape offering design build and maintenance services. We are building a legacy centered on craftsmanship, quality installation, and lasting client relationships. Today, that legacy continues: Paul Van Slyke, Founder & Chairman, established the company’s standard for integrity, personal service, and expert landscape construction. Sean Van Slyke, President, grew up in the nursery and contracting business and now leads the company with a focus on high-quality landscape installation and client care. John DeRoads, Design & Estimator, works closely with clients to develop practical, buildable landscape designs and detailed project plans that bring outdoor visions to life.
